Ducky19 – the biggest representative of the Ducky family.

This catamaran is of classical design, tested by years of operation in the most severe environment and in various water areas. It is designed for far many days’ cruises with the crew of 2 to 4 persons. The great carrying capacity of the catamaran and the size of the deck allow to place a considerable amount of luggage and at the same time there remains enough place for the crew. Assembling and disassembling are realized without tools.

Another possibility of using this catamaran is extreme races. In the sporting variant the catamaran is completed by an additional sail, the genakker, and, when there is fresh wind, with the crew of two persons it easily enters the gliding mode and makes 20 knots.

Specially, for racing fans, a racing version was developed – Ducky19r. Its main difference is the increased area of the main sails. This will be fully appreciated by users focused on racing and those for whom speed is a drug. The fastest catamaran in the Ducky family has repeatedly defended this title in various regattas.

For those who have already mastered the management of the catamaran in the basic configuration, and wants to get even more thrills, there is an additional sail – Gennaker. This is an asymmetric spinnaker, which is carried on the full course. Gennaker will significantly increase the speed. With such a sail, in a fresh wind, the catamaran is able to go into the gliding mode and accelerate to 20 knots!

Additionally, it is possible to install an outboard engine with the power of up to 4 hp on the catamaran. For this purpose, a special transom board fastening to the stern beam is provided.

In the production of our catamarans, we use only high-quality materials and components from the world’s leading manufacturers. The frame, mast and connectors are made of aluminum alloy, which has high strength and lightness, and also has high corrosion resistance in sea water. For additional protection against corrosion, all parts are anodized. Сenterboards and rudders of fiberglass reinforced plastic. Sails made of dacron or mylar. All fastening elements are made of stainless steel. Hulls have two sections, made out of special PVC boat fabric (1000 g/sq.m).
