Ducky-Party 2011
So, Ducky-Party has taken place! For a long time the idea already soared in air about such regatta, but to organize it have dared just now, probably, because time has come! As it was the first, "ranging", action many ideas and remained íåðåàëèçîâàíûìè, we will be íàäåÿòñÿ that, in the future, óäàñòüñÿ to realize them and then the regatta becomes even more interesting. And to begin with it would be desirable to learn simply opinion of users of catamarans of Daki, to understand that to people it is necessary and to move in what direction further. I hope, each participant of the first Ducky-Party has received a charge of positive emotions!
On Saturday there was an official day of arrival and by a dinner ashore it was possible to count 14 catamarans. After general meeting the decision was accepted – the first day of a regatta to devote to races in classes, unfortunately was this time typed only one high-grade class – Ducky17 (9 catamarans), and after a dinner of Sunday to arrange «match races» on two monotypes of Ducky17.
As the judge, the known yachtsman has been invited to a regatta in Ukraine – Alexander Kaznadej who has perfectly well consulted with the duties: the distance has been established perfectly, prestarting signals were simple and clear, and races have passed quickly and îðãàíèçîâàííî, for what to it also separate thanks!
The wind corresponded to the forecast, but since we have changed a venue, blew already from coast, often changing a direction, paternal only added an intrigue. In a class Ducky17 the present struggle which, frequently, lasted to last meter of a distance was fastened. It was pleasant to observe of racing peripetias from coast. After the spent 5 races, a racing component of day it has been decided to finish and pass to the tasty-entertaining program. Ashore already waited tasty êóëåø and the covered festive table. So, behind acceptance of tasty food, drinking of strong drinks, discussion of events of day and songs this day has to the guitar ended.
